A renewed focus on flooding

This group will support the growth of a high quality, UK wide flood defence industry.

It will provide a unique forum for engagement, bringing together like minded organisations to help tackle one of the biggest natural threats we face.

The UK Flood Partnership has recently been incorporated into The UK Water Partnership under our Flood Resilience Group. This group will support the growth of a high quality, UK-wide flood defence industry.

Objectives

  • Provide a forum for engagement and open up channels of communication between key public and private stakeholders.
  • Provide a platform for the sharing of ideas both within and outside the industry and provide a gateway to international opportunities.
  • Work with representatives from the Environment Agency, DEFRA, UKTI, Insurers and other key stakeholder groups to set strategic direction for the sub-group ensuring public sector influence.
