Test Facilities Register

Improving access to testing and research facilities in the UK.

Funded by Scottish Government’s Hydro Nation Water Innovation Service and the Natural Environment Research Council, the UK Water Partnership has produced a publicly available and searchable register of testing and demonstration facilities in the UK.

The Tapping the Potential report identified a clear need for researchers and developers to test new water technologies and processes in facilities that represent realistic deployment situations. There is already a wealth of research and testing facilities spread across the UK, yet it has been historically difficult to locate information about such facilities.

This register now allows technology researchers and developers to easily search and identify facilities that best meet their needs and to contact the owners and operators for access.

We are also collaborating with the Water Test Network and Energy Innovation Centre, who both provide complementary services around testing facilities in the UK. Visit their websites to find out more on NWE Europe or UKEIC.
