Our Business Plan outlines the UKWP’s strategy, goals, and operational approach and provides an update on the current and legacy workstreams. “Our Impact,” describes the positive effect that our activities have on the UK water sector and beyond. “Our Objectives” outlines the specific targets we aim to achieve. “Our Enablers” describes the key resources and capabilities that will allow us to succeed. The final section, “How We Operate,” details the day-to-day workings of the UK Water Partnership, including our governance structure, communication channels, and decision-making processes.
A note from our Chair, Sarah Hendry
I am delighted to be part of the UK Water Partnership as chair. The need for the partnership is more urgent every year. The most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reinforces the demand for action to address UK and global impacts of climate change on the availability and management of water. Drought and river water quality are live topics of unprecedented public interest.
The hard questions and pressure for action mean that an effective mechanism for connecting people to drive innovative solutions is essential. The UK Water Partnership is unique in its potential to make this happen.
