Living Water Ecosystems Ltd provides natural, low carbon solutions to waste and water problems. Our ecological techniques can treat effluent and wastes with a high organic loading and those with a high hydrocarbon and ammonia content. Each system is designed to meet the specific requirements of the project.

Living Water Ecosystems Ltd has been operating for over 32 years in the UK, Europe and internationally. Living Water provides one-stop integrated services and ecological approach which include the management, design and treatment of a wide range of water and waste streams through to landscaping and increasing biodiversity. Steps include assessments, detailed drawings, construction, commissioning and maintenance. Bioremediation and phytoremediation techniques are offered for treating solid wastes. We also carry out research & development on solutions for tackling global challenges and carbon negative solutions.
Our integrated approach begins with water and waste minimisation, resource management and recycling. We conduct environmental assessments, looking closely at catchment and site management, followed by water and waste minimisation. The aim of our work is to transform contaminated water and waste into a resource, using a combination of natural processes. Any material that cannot be reused or recycled is incorporated into the food web to enhance biodiversity. We design and implement ecological systems for the treatment of a wide range of industrial effluent and solid wastes (e.g. distilleries, breweries, wineries, oil terminals, AD plants, highway depots etc.) municipal, agricultural and domestic effluent and contaminated surface water.
We have expertise in the upstream, catchment management and design of SUDS measures to prevent flooding and combined sewage overflows (CSOs). We can also treat to excellent standards, municipal sewage on site to prevent CSOs and raw sewage entering watercourses. We have experience in treating contaminated surface water arising from roads and highways, gullies, and sweepers including the removal of salt, oils and hydrocarbons. Our Nature-Based approach can prevent flooding and pollution by employing ecological treatment systems to remove industrial and municipal pollution while creating wastewater resilience, creating functional landscapes, wildlife habitats and increasing biodiversity.
